AFT Fluorotec offers a range of compression moulded PTFE tube in virgin PTFE and has developed its own “AF” range of filled PTFE compounds, with in-house moulding capability up to 1000mm diameter.

All materials manufactured or supplied by AFT Fluorotec are fully certified and tested.

AFT Fluorotec take great care to ensure that materials are of the highest quality, through careful processing techniques and quality control.


AFT Fluorotec has also developed a range of other Fluoropolymer materials; special grades of filled PEEK have been developed for applications involving wear, for low friction, or for higher temperature requirements. AFT Fluorotec can also offer Victrex PEEK HT© in virgin or filled grades.

Other materials include but are not limited to rods or tubes manufactured from TFM, FEP, PFA, and PCTFE.

Dupont™ Vespel®


AFT Fluorotec offer components manufactured from the Dupont™ Vespel® range of materials. These are highly durable high performance Polyimide’s that deliver exceptional wear resistance, insulation and low coefficient of friction. There are many grades within the Vespel® range with differing attributes.

Whether it be extreme operating temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 300°C with minimal thermal and electrical conductivity of the Vespel® SP1 grade, extremely low coefficient of friction of the Vespel® SP21 or Vespel® SP211 grades or the dimensional stability of the Vespel® SP22 grade with its very low coefficient of thermal expansion, there is likely to be a Vespel grade of material to suit your application.
